Rocky Balboa's training mistakes

Ok here are his mistakes:

1.He is lifting so heavy. That will make him slow. Oh yes, his coach mentioned that he can't do anything else because he has arthritis or something, but what he is doing actually aggravates whatever he feels.

2.He doesn't have any boxing equipment or any speed work whatsoever. Now, his speed suffers. In boxing, you have to consider factors such as agility, fast-twitch movements, the snap of the punches etc. Rocky didn't take that into account.

3.I know it's just a movie, but he exaggerated all the lifting. Strength work is valuable in this sport. However, you have to do it right. What he is doing is not in the scope of boxing training. Maybe, competitive power- lifting.

Rocky Balboa is still an awesome movie about life. It teaches all of us to never give up no matter what the obstacles are. I think the training scene is still awesome though. When I watched this movie for the first time all I wanted to do was train. The fight scenes are not realistic but... THE MOVIE IS A CLASSIC!

It definitely has the TRAINLIKEABOXER Awesome Guarantee!
